Q: What is the weather like at your location?
A: The summer temperature ranges from the 70's
to an occasional 100 degrees with a breeze
blowing from the northwest most of the summer,
with little or no rain. The coldest winter
temperature ranges from the 30's at night
to a moderate 50 to 70 degrees during the
day. We have occasional tule fog during the
winter months that usually burns off by noon.
Rainfall is approximately 20 inches
a year,
most coming during the October to April
months.
Q: What Types of fish are there in the river?
A: The delta has a great variety of fish. the
most popular sport fishing is for sturgeon
and stripped bass. Other varieties include
catfish, bluegill, large mouth bass, crappie,
carp, pike, salmon, steehead, plus many other
species.
Q: How far is San Francisco from Lloyd's Holiday
Harbor?
A: By water it is about 45 miles. The time it
take by boat varies greatly depending on
tide, boat speed, etc. By freeway it is a
little closer and about one hour but again
depending upon traffic.
Q: What is the tidal change at Lloyd's?
A: The tides range from 2 to 4 feet between
low and high tide (ebb & flood). When
there is heavy rains we sometimes see higher
tides.
